The End of Summer Reading!

I just wanted to remind everyone that Summer Reading for all ages ends on Monday August 1st! Please make sure to have all of your entries turned in by the end of that day to be registered to win some fantastic prizes.
I've had fun with Summer Reading and I hope you have too. Just remember, you can read all year long, not just in the summer!

Thursday also brings fun for the teens with Anything Anime and Candy Sushi at 3pm.

Toddler Time on Friday will be all about the Dog Days of Summer! I just hope there are no real dogs attending. The fun starts at 10:30am.

Oh, and there is a special program on Saturday! We will have a presentation on Antique Postcards and free appraisals at 2pm. Come see what is sure to be a postcard perfect program!

Birthday Bear

Did you know it's almost Winnie the Pooh's birthday? He will be 90 years old on August 21st! I must say, ke looks really good for 90. It looks like the New York Public Library is planning a special event for him. They're asking people everywhere to make a birthday card for Winnie and send it in.

I think I shall make one. I'd love to be able to go to the celebration but sending a card will have to do. Unless I can convince the library mommies we should take a road trip....

Does anybody else want to join me in making a card for Winnie?

Love and Carrots,
Morgan
